Witches,
ghosts, and sinister hallucinations haunt the Performing Arts at Oakton
presentation of Macbeth, March 20 - 22 and
March 27 - 30, at Oakton Community College's Footlik Theater, 1600
E. Golf Road, Des Plaines.
In Shakespeare's tragic "Scottish play," the prophecies of witches
ignite the blind ambition of Macbeth and his wife to murder their
way to the top.
Regular
performances of Macbeth are 7:30 p.m., Thursday, March 27;
8 p.m., Friday, March 28; 2 and 8 p.m., Saturday, March 29; and 2
p.m., Sunday, March 30.
Tickets
are $12; $10 for students and seniors; and $8 for groups of 15 or
more.
A
$5 preview performance will be staged at 8 p.m., Thursday, March 20
and Friday, March 21. A $25 benefit performance will be held 8 p.m.,
Saturday, March 22 with proceeds benefiting the Oakton Educational
Foundation's Performing Arts Scholarship Fund.
