Open auditions for Oakton Community College's production of "Resident Alien" are scheduled at 7 p.m., Tuesday, Oct. 22, and Wednesday, Oct. 23, in Studio One at the Des Plaines campus, 1600 E. Golf Road.Stuart Spencer's intergalactic comedy, "Resident Alien," follows the experiences of an alien who arrives in a small Wisconsin town and delivers much-needed humanity and comic relief to the lives of its residents. The play features a cast of four men, one woman, and an adolescent boy. Auditions will consist of improvisation and cold readings. A prepared monologue is not necessary, but allowed.
"Residents Alien" will be presented at 8 p.m., Friday, Dec. 6 and 13; 8 p.m., Saturday, Dec. 7 and 14; and 2 p.m., Sunday, Dec. 8 and 15. For more information, call Karol Verson at 847-635-2185.
