Registration continues for Psychology of Personal Growth (PSY 107 014, Touch-Tone 00309), an applied psychology course that meets from 11 a.m. to 12:45 p.m. Tuesdays and Thursdays, Sept. 24 - Dec. 17, at Oakton's Ray Hartstein Campus, 7701 N. Lincoln Ave., Skokie.The three-credit-hour course covers basic principles of psychology and their application to everyday situations. Topics for discussion include personality theories, listening skills, self-esteem issues, personal values, and constructive ways of expressing feelings.
Students who have applications on file for fall semester 2002 or have attended Oakton within the last three years may register by phone using the Touch-Tone system at (847) 635-1616, available 8 a.m. - 10 p.m. Mondays through Thursdays; and 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturdays and Sundays. Payment by a major credit card (Visa, MasterCard or Discover) is required.
