Plunge
into the culture, history, and ecology of Peru on a travel/study program
sponsored by Oakton Community College. Three trips are available for
the upcoming year: June 12 - 27, July 10 - 25, and Aug. 28 - Sept.

Begin
in Lima, "City of Kings," before moving on through Colca Valley. Ascend
9,800 feet to Condor's Cross Observation Point and view the panorama
of Colca Canyon. Visit the archaeological Inca remains of Tambomachay,
Kenko, Puca-Pucara, and Sacsayhuaman. Journey on to Machu Picchu and
take a guided tour through "The Lost City of the Incas." Canoe down
the Madre De Dios River and picnic at Manu Wildlife Center. Travel
to Manu for forest trail hikes and views of numerous monkey and bird
species. End with a flight over the mysterious Nazca Lines.
