"Scamalot," the 82nd annual Christmas Spirits Revue by the Chicago
Bar Association, will be presented in a benefit for the Oakton Educational
Foundation, Saturday, Jan. 28, at Oakton Community College, 1600 E.
Golf Road, Des Plaines.
Taking its title from the Broadway musical, Monty Python's Spamalot,
"Scamalot" showcases some of Chicago's best legal minds in parodies
of political, sports, and show business celebrities. Among those struck
by the lawyers' comedic lance are Tom DeLay, Hillary Clinton, and
Gov. Rod Blagojevich.
The
show starts at 8:30 p.m. in the Footlik Theater at Oakton's Des Plaines
campus. A reception follows the performance. Tickets for this fundraiser
are $50 and may be reserved by calling the Office of Resource Development
at 847-635-1893.
