Oakton's Performing Arts Center Presents "Never the Sinner"
A Riveting, Psychological Thriller

Oakton's production of John's Logan's award-winning play, "Never the Sinner," opens at 8 p.m. Friday, Oct. 11, in Studio One at the Des Plaines Campus, 1600 E. Golf Road.

"Never the Sinner," winner of the 1988 Outer Critics Circle Award, explores the psychology behind the 1924 thrill killing of a 14-year-old boy by Nathan Leopold and Richard Loeb, the gifted sons of two wealthy Chicago families. This powerful and riveting script challenges the audience to consider some of the most serious and universal questions of our time.

Other shows are Friday, Oct. 18, at 8 p.m.; Saturday, Oct 12 and 19, at 8 p.m.; and Sunday, Oct. 13 and 20, at 2 p.m. All performances will be in Studio One at the Des Plaines campus.

Tickets are $12 for general admission, $10 for students and seniors, and $8 for group and Partner in Performance (PIP) rate. Tickets may be purchased in advance or at the door. The purchase of one full-price ticket to any of the eight programs in the fall 2002 performance schedule earns a free PIP membership to Oakton's Performing Arts Center and reduced ticket prices to other shows.

Other shows in the fall 2002 season at Oakton's Performing Arts Center include Mileva Einstein, the North American premiere of a play by renowned Eastern European playwright Vida Ognjenovic (Nov. 8 - 10 and 15 - 17); Waiting for Godot, Samuel Beckett's minimalist drama (Nov. 19 - 24); and Resident Alien, an intergalactic comedy (Dec. 6 - 8 and 13 - 15).
