Anton Chekhov's Three Sisters, hailed as
one of the greatest dramas of the 20th century, will be presented
in Studio One, April 6 - 9, and April 13 - 15, at Oakton Community
College, 1600 E. Golf Road, Des Plaines.
Three
Sisters details the lives and aspirations of the Prozorov family.
Dissatisfied and frustrated with their present existence, the sisters
and their brother all dream of one day escaping their provincial Russian
village.
Performances
of Three Sisters are 8 p.m., Fridays, April 7 and 14; 8 p.m.,
Saturdays, April 8 and 15; 2 p.m., Sunday, April 9 and 8 p.m., Thursday,
April 13. Tickets are $10; $8 for students and seniors; and $6 for
groups of 15 or more.
A
$5 preview performance will be staged at 12:30 p.m., Thursday, April
6.
