Oakton Community College music faculty member Michael Adamczyk and students take the stage at 8 p.m., Wednesday, July 27, in a free Summer Guitar Concert at Oakton's Performing Arts Center, 1600 E. Golf Road, Des Plaines.

Adamczyk and company will perform an evening of Russian and Latin guitar music. Prior to joining Oakton, Adamczyk was an instructor of guitar at Valparaiso University, and is the author of The Know-It-All Guitar Book.
