REGISTRATION OPEN FOR SUMMER COURSES AT OAKTON


Register now for summer 2002 classes offered at Oakton Community College. Seven- and eight-week sessions begin June 3 and June 10 respectively.

New courses being offered this summer include American Ethnic Literature (EGL 224 Touch-Tone 09153), from 6 to 9:15 p.m., on Tuesdays and Thursdays, beginning June 11 at the Ray Hartstein Campus, 7701 N. Lincoln Ave., Skokie; Introduction to Linguistics (EGL 260 Touch-Tone 08438), offered from 1:30 to 3 p.m., Monday through Thursday, beginning June 10 at the Des Plaines campus, 1600 E. Golf Rd.; Methods of Teaching English as a Second Language (EGL 262 Touch-Tone 08440), offered from 10:30 a.m. to noon, Monday through Thursday, beginning June 10 at the Des Plaines campus; and Conversational Polish (POL 105 Touch-Tone 08232), offered from 6 to 9:15 p.m., Monday and Wednesday, beginning June 10 at the Des Plaines campus.

In-person registration is available at both campuses, Monday through Thursday, from 8:30 a.m. to 8 p.m.; Fridays from 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m.; and Saturdays from 9 a.m. to noon. Students who have an application on file for summer session 2002 or who have attended Oakton within the last three years can register using the Touch-Tone registration system weekdays from 7 a.m. to 10 p.m., and on weekends from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. To register by phone, dial (847) 635-1616 and refer to the computer ID number listed by the course title in the Summer Credit Class Schedule.
