Still Time to Register for Summer Classes at Oakton
Registration for summer 2004 classes at Oakton Community College is available through June 8.
Classes available for the summer 2004 semester can be found online at www.oakton.edu, or in the Summer 2004 Credit and Noncredit Class Schedule, which can be picked up at the Des Plaines campus, 1600 E. Golf Road, or at the Ray Hartstein Campus, 7701 N. Lincoln Ave., Skokie.
Eight-week courses begin the week of June 7 and seven-week courses start the week of June 14. Interim courses are one to five weeks long and start between the spring and summer semesters. Students should refer to the Summer 2004 Credit and Noncredit Class Schedule for specific meeting times.
In-person registration is Monday through Thursday, 8:30 a.m. - 8 p.m.; Friday, 8:30 a.m. - 5 p.m.; and Saturday, 9 a.m. - 12 p.m. at Oakton's Des Plaines and Skokie campuses. Beginning June 1, Oakton will observe its summer hours, closed to all activity Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays. During summer hours, students may register for courses in person at both campuses, Monday through Thursday, 8:30 a.m. - 8 p.m. Regular hours will resume Aug. 15.
Students who have an application on file or have attended Oakton within the last three years may use the Touch-Tone registration system Monday through Friday, 8 a.m. - 10 p.m., and Saturday and Sunday, 8 a.m. - 5 p.m. To register by phone, dial 847-635-1616 and refer to the course reference number listed in the Summer 2004 Credit and Noncredit Class Schedule. Students also may register online at http://webreg.oakton.edu.
