Oakton Community College will again host the Teaching Mathematics with Technology Workshops, which are designed to support the technological development of high school and college faculty.

Instruction in developing Web pages, HTML, Javascript, Mathematica and the Geometer's sketchpad will be offered. Completion of these workshops satisfies the Illinois State Board of Education's re-certification mandate.

The four workshops will be held on Jan. 9, Feb. 23, Mar. 30, and May 4 at Oakton's Des Plaines Campus, 1600 East Golf Road. Participants must attend all of the half-day workshops, but can access the course material through the Internet and work at their own pace.
