Reserve your seat now for Oakton Community College's production of Waiting Tables, an entertaining mix of three one-act plays. Performances are scheduled for 8 p.m. on Saturday, Feb 23, and 2 p.m. on Sunday, Feb. 24, in the Performing Arts Center Studio, 1600 E. Golf Rd, Des Plaines; and for 8 p.m. on Saturday, March 2, and 2 p.m. on Sunday, March 3, in Rooms A145-A152 on the Ray Hartstein Campus, 7701 N. Lincoln Ave. Skokie.

A restaurant provides the setting for each play. Featured are August Strindberg's The Stronger, one women's introspective search for strength at the expense of another; David Ives' Sure Thing, a hysterical attempt at the perfect date; and Frank Gilroy's A Way With Words, a comic look at two longtime friends who love the same woman.
