OAKTON STUDENTS TO DISCUSS "WAR ON TERRORISM"


Oakton Community College invites the public to attend two student-led forums on terrorism and other current international topics. The meetings begin at 11 a.m. on Wednesday, May 1, in Room 1625 and on Thursday, May 2 in Room 1506 at the Des Plaines campus, 1600 E. Golf Rd.

Students will present background information on the "war on terrorism," including brief histories of Iraq, Iran and North Korea. Questions of morality and legality in the "war" will also be discussed.
