Oakton Administration Receives Award



Cheryl Warmann, director of Student Financial Services at Oakton Community College, has earned a sustained service award from the Illinois Association of Student Financial Aid Administrators (ILASFAA).

The annual award is presented to association members who have served a minimum of 10 years in the profession and have made substantive contributions to the ILASFAA. Warmann, who joined Oakton in 2000, has held numerous ILASFAA positions since 1994, including membership on the programming committee, executive vice president, and president in 2001.

Oakton Community College offers degree and certificate curricula for students preparing to earn a bachelor's degree at a four-year college or university, as well as those preparing for employment in a variety of careers. Oakton is accredited by The Higher Learning Commission and is a member of the North Central Association, Illinois Community College Board and American Association of Community Colleges.
