Oakton Announces Winter Break Schedule
Oakton Community College will be closed Saturday, Dec. 24 through Monday, Jan. 2, 2006, for winter break. Normal hours of operation for in-person registration and student services will resume Tuesday, Jan. 3, at the Des Plaines campus, 1600 E. Golf Road, and Ray Hartstein Campus, 7701 N. Lincoln Ave., Skokie.
Before the break, the College will sponsor an Open House at its Des Plaines campus at 5:30 p.m., Wednesday, Dec. 7. The spring 2006 semester begins Tuesday, Jan. 17, 2006.
In-person registration at either campus is Monday through Thursday, 8:30 a.m. - 8 p.m.; Friday, 8:30 a.m. - 5 p.m.; and Saturday, 9 a.m. - 12 p.m. Students with applications on file or who have attended Oakton in the last three years may register online at webreg.oakton.edu.
Students are encouraged to consult the Spring 2006 Credit and Noncredit Class Schedule for specific course information. For more assistance, contact the Advising and Counseling Center at 847-635-1741 in Des Plaines, or 847-635-1400 in Skokie.
