Oakton Announces Winter Break Schedule
Oakton Community College will be closed Saturday, Dec. 23, 2006 through Monday, Jan. 1, 2007, for winter break. Normal hours of operation for in-person registration and student services will resume Tuesday, Jan. 2, at the Des Plaines campus, 1600 E. Golf Road, and Ray Hartstein Campus, 7701 N. Lincoln Ave., Skokie.
Before the break, the College will sponsor an Open House at its Des Plaines campus at 5:30 p.m., Thursday, Dec. 7. The spring 2007 semester begins Tuesday, Jan. 16, 2007.
In-person registration at either campus is Monday through Thursday, 8:30 a.m. - 7 p.m.; Friday, 8:30 a.m. - 5 p.m.; and Saturday, 9 a.m. - 12 p.m. Apply and register online at www.oakton.edu. Students with a current application on file may register online at my.oakton.edu.
Students are encouraged to consult the Spring 2007 Credit and Noncredit Class Schedule for specific course information. For more assistance, contact the Advising and Counseling Center at 847-635-1741 in Des Plaines, or 847-635-1400 in Skokie.
