Written as a contemporary sequel to The Threepenny Opera, this “melodrama with songs” set in 1919 Chicago pits organized crime against the Salvation Army. Lt. Three Sisters
By Anton Chekov Directed by Patti Interrante

What happens when dreams and ambitions become entangled with the unattainable? That is the story behind Chekhov’s The Three Sisters, hailed as one of the greatest dramas of the 20th century. Isolated in a provincial Russian town, the Prozorov sisters cling to their dream of moving to a better life in Moscow. This spellbinding theater experience speaks to our deepest yearnings.

Six Piano Ensemble
Conducted by Glenna Sprague

The Six Piano Ensemble performs challenging compositions from the classical, popular, and ragtime repertoires. Established in 1980, the ensemble plays works transcribed specifically for six pianos by conductor Glenna Sprague, professor and coordinator of music at Oakton Community College. This unique group exhibits, according to one reviewer, “a wonderful sense of style, and a high level of musicality and artistry.”
