Athletic First

Freshman Kathleen Alfredson (Evanston Township) holds the distinction as the first Oakton Community College women’s intercollegiate golfer. Alfredson teed off on Friday, September 3, at the Robert Morris University Golf Classic held at the Foss Park Country Club. In the 84-player field, Alfredson was the lone community college golfer. Battling winds up to 30 miles per hour, Alfredson finished with a score of 126 for 18 holes.

The women's golf team is coached by Lisa Bolinder.
