Reporting Criminal Offenses and Suspicious Activity
Community members, students, faculty, staff and visitors are strongly encouraged to report all crimes, suspicious activity and other public-safety related matters to the Oakton Community College Campus Police Department as soon as possible by calling the appropriate number listed below or by coming to the Public Safety office located in Room 1170 on Main Campus, or Room C100 on Skokie/Ray Hartstein Campus.

Crimes or tips on criminal activity may be reported anonymously. These reports will be investigated by Campus Police, and if found to be legitimate, will be included in the annual crime statistics report.

In Person at Des Plaines Campus: Oakton‘s Public Safety campus police office is located on the first floor of the building, Room 1170. Room 1170 is located directly west of the Information Booth, or directly north of Parking Lot B, of the school’s main entrance. You can also report any incident to a uniformed officer or student cadet.

In Person at Skokie/Ray Hartstein Campus: Oakton’s Public Safety is located on the first floor of the building, Room C100. Room C100 is located directly north of the school’s main entrance. You can also report any incident to a uniformed officer or student cadet.
