Oakton Students’ Involvement in the Life of the College:

Results from the Fall 2002 Current Student Survey

Each Fall Oakton conducts a survey of students enrolled in a random sample of courses. Survey responses are statistically weighted to offset the possibility that students enrolled in several courses are more likely to have completed the survey than students enrolled in just one or two courses. One of this year’s topics of interest was the extent to which students engaged in College life by socializing with other Oakton students and participating in a variety of activities and events at the College. The graph below depicts the percent of respondents who said they had engaged in each activity.
