Welcome

Welcome to my Oakton Homepage. I am currently an adjunct faculty of the Health Information Technology program. I have been a faculty at Oakton for the past ten years. I have a Bachelor of Science Degree in Health Care Leadership from National Louis University and I am also a Registered Health Information Technician(RHIT).  I obtained my MBA from North Park University in 2012. I teach in the Medical Office Billing   and Coding Certificate program including CPT Coding, ICD Coding,Insurance Procedures for the Medical Office:Medicare and  Non-Medicare, Evaluation and Management Course for both Des Plaines and Skokie campuses. My goal is to share my health information technology work experience with the HIT students and to bring relevant and current issues in the healthcare field.
