For students wishing to continue their studies and pursue a bachelor's degree in education, Oakton offers the general Associate of Arts degree. Courses can be selected according to each student's interests and intended major at the bachelor's degree level, including Elementary Education and Secondary Education. There are many transferable education classes available, but not all courses may be accepted at the transfer college you select.  Students are strongly encouraged to consult Advising and Counseling, as well as the transfer institution's catalog to choose courses that will meet the requirements of the transfer institution.
