Paramedic Information

Paramedic Information

Our paramedic classes (FIR 221 - 224) are offered through a cooperative agreement with St. Francis Hospital.  Oakton is allocated a minimum of six (6) students who can be enrolled in their paramedic program. To be fair to all of our EMT past and present students, as well as other interested students, a competitive assessment process has been developed to choose the top qualifying students. Applications are due by 5:00 PM on Friday, September 30, 2011 (no late applications accepted) in the Division of Mathematics and Technologies Office, room 2180, Des Plaines.

If you are interested in the paramedic classes, we have the following information available:

Paramedic Program Information Sheet (pdf) - includes application requirements

Letter from Stan Kimura, Department Chair (pdf)

Paramedic Program Medical Requirements (pdf)

Paramedic Program Application (pdf)

For more information, contact Stanley Kimura, department chair, at 847.635.1827 or kimuras@oakton.edu.
