Film Festival
The Modern Language Film Festival is held every year in spring and fall semesters.
Modern Language Department Poster Contest
Celebrate cultures every year through art and creativity! Grand prize: Free Modern Language Course at Oakton (4 credit hours). Our 2012 Grand Prize winner is Alicja Slabecka. Other winners are:
- Monique Buni, First Prize, $200 Oakton bookstore gift certificate
- Julius Abalos, Second Prize, $150 Oakton bookstore gift certificate
- Stephanie Karls, Honorable Mention, $100 Oakton bookstore gift certifcate
The grand, first and second prize winning posters will be on display in the Language Lab for one year. Stop by at Des Plaines or Skokie and take a look.

Last day to submit proof of residency, business service agreements and chargebacks/joint agreements.

Last day to change to Audit.
June 21
Last day to drop and have course dropped from record.
June 28
Last day for filing Graduation Petitions.
June 28
Last day to withdraw with a "W" (no withdrawals after mid-term)
Students will receive a grade in all courses in which they are enrolled after June 28..
July 4
Independence Day holiday. College closed.
