Film Festival
The Modern Language Film Festival is held every year in spring and fall semesters.
Modern Language Department Poster Contest
Celebrate cultures every year through art and creativity! Grand prize: Free Modern Language Course at Oakton (4 credit hours). Our 2013 Grand Prize winner is Daniel Matthee. Other winners are:
- Julius Abalos, First Prize, $200 Oakton bookstore gift certificate
- Mahir Anoia, Second Prize, $150 Oakton bookstore gift certificate
- Yea Seul (Esther) Kim, Honorable Mention, $100 Oakton bookstore gift certifcate
All winning posters will be on display in the Language Lab for one year. Stop by at Des Plaines or Skokie and take a look.
