Our Skokie Campus Library will soon become a Learning Commons, including collaborative learning spaces and centralized access to student support services.

From Aug. 7-20, the Skokie Campus Library will be closed for packing and moving. Starting Aug. 21, all Skokie Library services, including the reference desk, computers, scanners, and print stations, will be located in rooms A145-152 (Oak Rooms). Books can be checked out in the Oak Rooms but will be retrieved by library employees from temporary storage.

Rooms P103-104 (Acorn Rooms) will continue to be unavailable as they will become a temporary location for the Testing Center, TRIO and ADRC at a later date.

The Oak and Acorn Rooms will be unavailable for meetings, events and rentals until June 2024.

Skokie Campus Exterior panel replacement project:

July 2023 - April 2024

As work begins on the exterior walls of the Skokie campus, some classrooms and offices will be impacted by noise and other construction activity.

Construction is expected to take place on weekdays between the approximate hours of 8 a.m. - 4 p.m.

Classrooms and workspaces may be impacted by construction. Impacted areas will be notified in advance, depending on their specific needs.

Employees located in offices affected by noise are encouraged to work with supervisors to identify alternate work locations in common areas on campus, or remotely if feasible.
