  • Weather permitting, the south half of Parking Lot D (near the Lee Center) at the Des Plaines Campus will be closed from July 3 - 8 for work related to Exterior Lighting Upgrades. 
  • The Des Plaines campus Library, Testing Center and Learning Center have moved to their temporary location in the TenHoeve wing (1600 rooms). The TenHoeve Rooms at the Des Plaines campus will be unavailable for events and meetings until Dec. 31, 2025.
  • The Division of Student Affairs has temporarily re-located to Room 2817.
  • The Des Plaines Access and Disability Resource Center (ADRC) office has temporarily moved to room 2548.

Work is expected to begin in early July, resulting in rolling closures of parking lots and walkways, restricting access to vehicle and pedestrian classes for various time durations.

The General Contractor has started work on site. Framing is complete. The mechanical, electrical and plumbing (MEP) rough-in is ongoing and is expected to continue for several months. Insulation and drywall installation are ongoing.

The project will be going out for bid in June. Board of Trustees consideration for the bid approval is expected to take place in August.

Student Affairs, Information Technology and Access and Disability Resource Center (ADRC) Office Renovations (Des Plaines)

Phase 1 projects for the IT Hub, Testing Center, and ADRC are nearing completion. Furniture Installation is complete. The Testing Center is scheduled to move into its new suite in Room 1830 during the week of June 23. The Access and Disability Resource Center (ADRC) is scheduled to open its new office suite located in Room 1820 on June 30.

Phase 2 projects for the Office of Student Affairs, Workforce Development, Bookstore, and Welcome Center are in design.
