Proof of District Residency Deadline
Spring 2012: Saturday, January 21, noon
To prove residency, you must submit a valid Illinois driver’s license, an Illinois state I.D., two current bank statements or utility bills, or an in-district high school transcript issued within the last two years. Documentation must show you have lived within District 535 for at least 30 days prior to the beginning of the term. Additional proof may be requested at the discretion of the College.
Employees of in-district companies who live out of District 535 must meet certain criteria to qualify for the Business Service Agreement tuition rate. Please contact the Enrollment Center at 847.635.1700.
Chargebacks and Joint Agreements
Oakton students who are seeking a degree/certificate not available at the College may be eligible for a chargeback or joint agreement to attend another community college in Illinois that offers that curriculum. Specific rules apply. Application is required 30 days prior to the start of a term. For additional information, contact the Enrollment Center, 847.635.1700 (Des Plaines) or 847.635.1400 (Skokie).
