Summer 2008 Oakton Library/Student ID cards
Here's
how to get your Oakton Library/Student ID card: please
bring your Summer 2008 detailed course schedule, your address
listing from your MyOakton account, and a picture ID (driver's
license or state ID) to the Oakton Library circulation desk
at the Des Plaines or RHC Skokie campus to get your new Oakton
Library/Student ID card.
You
can use your Oakton Library ID card to check out books and renew
books. Your Oakton Library ID number also allows you to access
"My Account" to see the list of books that you have
checked out from the library. You can even use your Oakton Library
ID card number to borrow books from the other
campus library and to access many of the Oakton
Library online journal article databases using off-campus
computers.

- Requesting
Books from Libraries Other Than Oakton
Students
and faculty who wish to request books and eligible materials
from other CARLI libraries through interlibrary loan may do
so using the Oakton Community College Library Catalog from the
Library's Web page. You must have a currently valid Oakton Library
card to access your user account. If you need help accessing
your account, just ask a librarian or come to the Circulation
Desk. Click
here for instructions
on using the Oakton Community College Library Catalog to obtain
books through interlibrary loan.
