Men's Baseball

Under seasoned community college coach Bill Fratto, the Raiders have built a winning tradition and gained national prominence. With Fratto’s guidance, dozens of players have been named all-conference and all-region selection and advanced to compete at NCAA Division I, II and III institutions. In 2010, the Raiders recorded a 42-win season and advanced to the NJCAA Region IV Championships.

Oakton will host the NJCAA Region IV Sectionals on May 9 – 10.
Oakton won the Illinois Skyway Collegiate Conference title by going 12-2 in league play marking the first time Oakton’s baseball team has recorded 12 conference victories in a single season.

Oakton greatly helped its chances to win the Illinois Skyway Collegiate Conference (ISCC) by taking two games from league opponent College of Lake County earlier this week.
Oakton remains unbeaten in Illinois Skyway Collegiate Conference play (4-0) having outscoring opponents, 25-9.
