Men's Soccer

Men's Soccer

Coached by Steve Brody, the men’s soccer team has a stranglehold on the Illinois Skyway Collegiate Conference compiling a 21-game unbeaten streak that dates to 2008. In 2010, the nationally ranked Raiders won a College record 16 matches and reigned again as conference champions. For the first time in College history, the Raiders captured the NJCAA Region IV Tournament and advanced to the Great Lakes District Championship.

Oakton men’s soccer team, the defending Illinois Skyway Collegiate Conference (ISCC) champions, hit “blackjack” by recruiting 21 players committed for the 2015 season.
Sophomore defender Pooya Shams recently was named to the National Soccer Coaches Association of America (NSCAA) Men’s Junior College Division Scholar All-America Team.

The 2014 squad remained impressive going 7-0 in conference play while outscoring league opponents 23-9.
With its 4-1 victory over Illinois Skyway Collegiate Conference opponent Moraine Valley on October 7, Oakton clinched at least a share of the Skyway Conference title.
