While gender dynamics have shifted course in recent decades, most men still don’t know how to explore their roles in society. Quite simply, the support system for self-discovery is lacking, and men continue to experience limited encouragement to provide support for other men.

Sports, Athletics and Life

This workshop will discuss the role of sports and athletics in the lives of boys and men.
Presenter: Rick Telander, columnist for Sports Illustrated.

Spring Program for Educators in Oakton’s District
An all day workshop is being developed for educators in Oakton‘s school district that deals with the growing national crisis regarding boys and older male children in America’s elementary, secondary and post secondary educational systems.

This is a continuation of the PSY 107 spring session, and includes on-campus class meetings before and after a weekend retreat held in Delavan, Wisconsin. (3 credit hours)
