# Placement Test Preparation

The Learning Center has put together packets and presentations to prepare you for the placement tests. These packets are not meant to teach you the concepts, but are to serve as a review. Remember that you cannot fail the placement test, your chances for success in math, English and writing classes are best when the tests reflect your comfortable level of knowledge.

**Writing Test Packet**

The WSAT (Writing Skills Aptitude Test) is a way to rate your skills at different aspects of the writing process. The WSAT is designed to give you a snapshot of your current skill-set, which can help you focus your current and future writing project(s).
