    WHAT is TRiO?

    Student Support Services TRiO is a program funded by the U.S. Department of Education and is part of a network of over 2,800 TRiO programs serving nearly 850,000 students throughout the country. The mission of TRiO at Oakton Community College is to help students be successful in college. TRiO helps students manage the demands of college life by providing a support system of caring professionals. We have services such as tutoring, academic advising, strategy-enhancing workshops, and transfer assistance to help students reach their goals.
