The Skyway Conference offers a variety of sports throughout the year: golf, womens volleyball, men's and women's cross-country, soccer, and women's tennis in the fall; men's and women's basketball in the winter; and men's tennis, men's baseball, and women's softball in the spring. Oakton also offers men's and women's indoor/outdoor track and marathon as non-conference sports. Oakton athletes exhibit great potential in intercollegiate sports. After Oakton, many athletes transfer to four-year colleges and universities to compete in their respective sports. Some recent Oakton athletes have continued to play at the following institutions: Central Missouri State; Lewis University; North Park College; Northern Illinois University; Oakland University; Penn-State University; Purdue University; Robert Morris College; St. Xavier University; Texas Christian University; University of Illinois at Chicago; University of Louisiana Monroe; and Western Illinois University.
