Wi-Fi on campus

The "OCC" Wi-Fi SSID is the publicly accessible network for mobile devices available on both campuses. It does not require authentication, and is not secure.

The "OAKTON" SSID is available to students and employees using iOS, macOS, or Windows*, and is the recommended Wi-Fi network. Using the "OAKTON" network offers more internet bandwidth for users (up to 4 times as much!), as well as encryption of data in transit.

If you want to connect to the "OAKTON" network and have a Windows device, follow these steps while on your device (laptop, tablet, phone, etc)
