In 34 credit hours, you’ll gain the hands-on skills needed to work with individuals, families, and communities. You’ll train in counseling and crisis intervention, motivational interviewing, group counseling, and case management. You’ll learn how to navigate ethical challenges while supporting people with mental health issues, trauma, and addiction. The program includes observation hours and practical experience, giving you real-world preparation for entry-level positions in social services.
