Guaranteed admission into the Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) program at Columbia (after meeting crtieria outlined below).
Columbia will accept 75 transferable credit hours.
Columbia will participate in the "reverse transfer" process for students who transfer before earning an associate degree.
Oakton transfer students with a 2.75 GPA or higher are eligible scholarships ranging from $4,000 to $8,000 according to below below.

Criteria
To quality, students must:
be a high school graduate (having earned a high school diploma or GED),
AND have completed a minimum of twenty-four (24) transferrable credit hours at Oakton
WITH a cumulative grade point average of 2.5 on a 4.0 scale on all transferrable coursework.
be degree-seeking at Oakton and in good standing at Oakton at the time of application to Columbia.
complete EGL 101 and EGL 102 with final grades of “C” or higher to meet the English proficiency requirements at Columbia.
Special Note
Selective programs in the Bachelor of Music (B.M.), Bachelor of Science (B.S.), and Bachelor of Fine Arts (B.F.A.) degrees will need to meet additional admission requirements.
