Oakton students can transfer to Western Governors University (WGU) according to the following terms.

  • Can follow clearly defined transfer pathways in all four (4) colleges at WGU.
  • Receive a 5% tuition discount for up to four academic terms.
  • WGU accepts eligible IB, AP, CLEP and DANTE exam results. 
  • Can access WGU Community College Partner Scholarships.
  • Can engage in the reverse transfer process.

Criteria

To qualify, students must complete:

  • an associate's degree at Oakton College.
  • all required WGU application and enrollment processes according to their deadlines.
