Oakton’s Finest – Art for Education’s Sake
On Friday, Oct. 12, 2018, the Oakton Educational Foundation hosted its annual Oakton’s Finest - Art for Education’s Sake art sale and reception. Oakton donors, employees, and community members came together at the Skokie campus for a benefit art auction that featured artwork produced by students, faculty, and local artists. The event also featured a wine tasting provided by St. Julian Winery in Michigan, desserts provided by Culver’s in Skokie, and art demonstrations by Oakton students April White and Vijay Paniker.
The Foundation expresses its sincere thanks to all who attended the event and donated to the auction. With your support, we added raised more than $7,200 to the Oakton Foundation Annual Fund, which supports student scholarships, academic innovation, and other student-success initiatives on campus.
Special thanks to our event sponsors:
First Bank of Highland Park and John Crane, Inc. ($1,000)
