Oakton College Library

The Oakton Library, located within the Learning Commons, can help you find the resources you need, including textbooks, online resources, and much more. Librarians offer research help online and in person at both campuses, including drop-in, appointments, workshops, and more.

The library also offers 24/7 access to our extensive collection of online content including: articles, e-books, and movies. We also provide access to print books, technology, and more during open hours. In addition to our collection, you'll also be able to borrow items from more than 80 colleges and universities throughout Illinois.

Most in-person library transactions require your Owl ID. You can pick up your card in person or have it mailed to you.

Hours and Locations

Des Plaines: The main library entrance is currently on the first floor of the main building, room 1403.
Skokie: The library is located within the Learning Commons on the second floor, room A200.
