Center for Campus Inclusion and Diversity

The Center for Campus Inclusion and Diversity exists to provide support, educational experiences, and interactive learning opportunities. Our mission is to represent the needs and concerns of historically marginalized student populations and provide access to opportunities through programs, services, and resources related to equity, diversity, and inclusion.

Programs

Critical Conversations Series
Critical Conversations provide important, interactive dialogues that promote access, equity, and inclusion at Oakton and beyond. Topics address a wide range of social issues with the overall goal of creating opportunities for critical thinking, reflection, and action.

Webcast Series
The Center for Campus Inclusion and Diversity will be offering webcast sessions throughout the year focusing on a particular topic of social interest and/or professional development. The overall goal is to promote a continuous learning environment through the use of digital education.

Student Success Workshops
Departments across the college, including TRIO and the Learning Center, facilitate guided workshops at the Center for Campus Inclusion and Diversity with the goal of creating a wide range of relevant content while attracting a diverse population of students and, in some cases, faculty and staff.
