Oakton’s Center for Professional Development (CPD) provides a wide range of professional development resources for all College employees. The Center’s goal is to help faculty, staff and administration:
All new staff employees are required to complete the online orientation program; Human Resources will work with new staff on accessing the orientation program.
HR Training workshops are listed in the College's Professional Development Workshop Schedule. Employees of the college can sign up for workshops and find more information about the CPD through myOakton, on the "HR, Payroll, & CPD" tab.
Supervisors can request customized departmental training, facilitated by HR personnel. A new form for departments that would like customized departmental training is being developed. In the meantime, please feel free to email Mindy Finnigan at mfinniga@oakton.edu
Calling all supervisors! If you manage any number of employees, whether from one to one-hundred, student, faculty or staff, these supervisory development workshops are for you. Plan to develop the managerial skills you need to succeed by participating in the HR Supervisory Development workshops.
Supervisory development workshops are listed in the College's Professional Development Workshop Schedule
