Student Commencement Speaker

LEAD, MOTIVATE, INSPIRE!

You can be the 2022 Student Commencement Speaker.

Send off fellow graduates with a positive, inspirational message and tell your Oakton story.  All graduates participating in the 2022 Commencement ceremony are invited to apply.

The Student Commencement Speaker receives:

• $100 Gift Card
• A commemorative plaque
• DVD copy of Commencement video (limit one)

Selection process:

• Step One: Complete online application 
• Step Two: Audition a speech prompt in front of a panel of judges (in person and virtual options available)
• Step Three: A commencement representative will contact you about the status of your application 

Applications are due 5 p.m. Friday, March 4, 2022 

Complete an application online. Paper applications can also be picked up in the Student Center and returned to Student Life.
