Wifi on Campus

The "Oakton-Guest" wifi SSID is the publicly accessible guest network for mobile devices available on both campuses.

It does require registering your email address and acknowledging Oakton's responsible use policy. It is not encrypted or secured.

The "OAKTON" SSID is available to students and employees using iOS, macOS, or Windows*, and is the recommended wifi network. Using the "OAKTON" network offers more Internet bandwidth for users (up to four times as much!), as well as encryption of data in transit.
