Transfer Path: A.A. to B.A. in World Language Education with Spanish Concentration (K-12)

Description of Agreement 

  • Oakton College students are required to complete an Associate’s degree and meet Elmhurst University admission requirements. Elmhurst gives preference to students with cumulative minimum grade-point averages of 2.50 for college admission.
  • The School of Education requires a separate application process including letters of recommendation, a personal essay, an Illinois State Police background/fingerprint check, and a cumulative minimum 2.75-grade point average to be considered for admission into the World Language Education Licensure program.
  • Students may transfer up to 70 credits, including the 31 hours of World Language Education with Spanish Concentration (K-12) related course credits that could be applied toward the requirements for a B.A. in World Language Education with Spanish Concentration (K-12) Degree from Elmhurst University
