Dual Degree Program (DDP)

What is it?

The Dual Degree Program (DDP) offers Oakton students guaranteed admission to Roosevelt University in all degree programs except those in the Chicago College of Performing Arts and College of Pharmacy (See DEP: PharmD Agreement for College of Pharmacy).

Benefits

  • Guaranteed admission & seamless transfer for students who have earned an associate degree with a minimum 2.5 GPA.
  • Receive a special Preferred Partner DDP Scholarship of $1,000.
  • Additional stackable scholarship opportunities, such as merit scholarships from $1,000-$3,000 and the $500 Phi Theta Kapa Scholarship.
  • Dual advising from Roosevelt University and Oakton.

Participation Details

In order to qualify for Roosevelt's Dual Degree Program, a student must:

  • Join the program after completing a minimum of 12 and a maximum of 45 credits at Oakton.
  • Submit an unofficial copy of their transcript to Roosevelt at the conclusion of each semester for verification of satisfactory academic progress and continued eligibility for the DDP.
  • Earn an associate degree with a minimum GPA of 2.5 within three years.
  • Complete the degree requirements for their selected major. Once a student chooses a major, their degree requirements will be locked in for 3 years.
  • Earn a Bachelor's Degree within three years of transfer.
